Every day I turn on the news I see there are hundreds of Trayvon Martin cases each day. I feel the justice system has always been unethical. When are we as people going to stop complaining about it and do something about it? We as a nation need to make sure that everyone has a fair trial and also a fair sentence. How can someone rape your daughter get 4 years and someone selling drugs get 10 years to life?
No one seems to really care until it is at their door step. This really needs to stop. We need to hold politicians accountable for the laws they are making. Stop letting them flood your mind by only talking about abortion and laws that are very controversial. Make them talk about laws that will give you some peace of mind. Why does the middle class pay twice as much of their income towards taxes as millionaires do? Why are killers and rapists getting less time than drug dealers? Why do you get different sentences for selling crack cocaine than powder cocaine? Why do we have the most expensive medical coverage in the World?……….. and it is worthless!!!
We need to get more involved in the justice system. It needs to start now. I am tired of sitting around talking about it. People register to vote. Get with your neighborhood and start supporting politicians together. I am not just talking about voting for the presidential election (I have been guilty of this in the past). Learn about your local politicians and what their goals are during their terms in office. Look at your state level representatives as well. We have to stop taking what is given to us. We have to stand for something. I walk by the Capitol every day and see people protesting. I will be honest most of it I think is BS but at least they are standing for something. All that I am asking is that you start by voting and listening to world and local news to stay up on the issues. Stop waiting on the celebrity case to start making your mark. What happens when they are done – you stop lifting your voice? Stop saying it does not affect you because by the time you realize it does it is probably too late!!!!!

Yeah we need to real start looking at the real issues. I am tired of People picking and choosing what sins are right or wrong in politics. I really real like church is separate. We so wrapped up in gay marriages and abortions that we don’t look at the real issues that affects all of us. I am sick and tired of people saying they are not going to vote for Obama because of his stance on gay marriages straight ignorance.
My question is how on a small scale do we raise the issue of the real problems. I am tired of being taken advantage of. The rich get richer and the poor make them richer. I personally don’t care if you are republican or democrat. I want someone who is going to look out for us? Something needs to be done.

Not sure where you live but you have different groups like Young Democrats or Young Republicans. You can go to your Town Hall meetings. You can also go to your local community center. Everything is at your hand. You can just google it. There are ways. I hope that this helps. If anyone else know of groups that you can join to stay up please respond.
