I do not think any boy grows up saying they do not want to be a great man in this world. I think the problem is with the media; showing our young boys a man having lots of women and lots of money is what makes that man a great man. I was taught that being a man was settling down and raising a family.
I know that I will love my wife with all my heart and no, I am not perfect but I will do the best that I can. Anything that I can do to make her day better I will do it. If you need to talk, I will always listen to you because your feelings will always matter to me. We have to be willing to sacrifice and work with each other.
Love is not easy. There is no microwaveable relationship. You have to cook it over the stove and make sure you season it just right. I know I am making it sound very easy but I really think that it is not as hard as it seems.
I am trying to bring up my children in a stable household with two loving parents. I will not leave my wife to raise the family by herself. If fact, you might tell me that I am taking your job in raising them. I want to make sure that my kids have the best chance to be everything they want to be, while being people of God.
All I can do is pray that God continues to bring me along and help me grow and prosper. I am not going to say the husband and father that I want to be anymore because this is the person that I am going to be from this day forward. I will start speaking life into. God says ask and you shall receive!
Remember to Keep It GC,
